The present perfect is formed with the verb **haber** in present tense form and **the past participle** of another verb.
– **-ado** to the stem of **-ar** verbs.
**Example**:

– **-ido** to the stem of **-er** or **-ir** verbs.
**Example**:
**Comer**.
**Comido**.
**Beber**.
**Bebido**.

Verbs ended in **-uir** do not need the written accent mark in the past participle.
