Page 14: Adjetivos posesivos C

Exercise 1
Step 1
1 of 4
In this exercise, we have to complete the conversation using the correct possessive adjective from the box. Use each only once.
Step 2
2 of 4
The possessive adjectives are: mi/mis, tu/tus, su/sus, nuestro/nuestra/nuestros/nuestras, vuestro/vuestra/vuestros/vuestras, su/sus.
The item possessed must agree in the number and gender with the possessive adjective, not with the person who is possessing it.
Step 3
3 of 4
Let’s start with the first blank.
In the previous sentence, we have *la mamá de RaĂşl* (RaĂşls mom) and in the sentence with the blank, we have *tortilla española*. Therefore, for the first blank we have to use the possessive adjective for third-person singular and singular form, which is “su”.

In the next sentence, we have *padre* (father) and we have Teresa as a speaker. Therefore, for the second blank, we have to use the possessive adjective for first-person singular and singular form, which is “mi”.

For the next blank. we will use the first-person singular possessive adjective in plural form, which is “mis” because we have *hermanos* in the plural.

In the next sentence, Sonia is referring to Terese, therefore, for the fourth blank, we will use the second-person singular possessive adjective, and since we have *familia* (family) singular form, which is “tu”.

And for the last blank, since Sonia is talking about herself and her sister, we have to use the possessive adjective for the first-person plural form, and because we have *padres* (parents) plural form, which is “nuestros”.
