This is a pair exercise, but we will solve it individually as an example. We have to ask and answer who you would be if you were a certain person or did a certain thing:

We describe each exercise in terms of the statement, the question and the answer:

1. un(a) cantante famoso/a. / *a famous singer.*

**a)** ¿Si fueras una cantante famosa, quien serías? / *If you were a famous singer, who would you be?*

**b)** Si fuera un cantante famoso sería Freddie Mercury y aprovecharía mi tiempo en hacer mucha música. / *If I were a famous singer I would be Freddie Mercury and I would use my time to make a lot of music.*

**REMEMBER:** *In these exercises we are talking about hypothetical cases, about things we could have done or not, either in any grammatical tense.*

2. Un persona je histórico famoso. / *A famous historical person.*

**a)** ¿Si fueras un personaje histórico famoso, quién serías? / *If you were a famous historical figure, who would you be?*

**b)** Si yo fuera un personaje histórico famoso seria Napoleón y no perdería en Waterloo. / *If I were a famous historical character I would be Napoleon and I would not lose at Waterloo.*

3. El personaje de un libro. / *A character from a book.*

**a)** ¿Si fueras un personaje de un libro, quién serías? / *If you were a character in a book, who would you be?*

**b)** Si fuera un personaje de un libro sería Harry Potter para poder asistir a Howarts. / *If I were a character in a book it would be Harry Potter so I could attend Hogwarts.*

4. Un(a) actor/ actriz famoso/a. / *A famous actor/actress.*

**a)** ¿Si fueras un(a) actor/ actriz famoso/a, quién serías? / *If you were a famous actor/actress, who would you be?*

**b)** Si yo fueras un actor famoso, sería Henry Calvin, para poder se Superman. / *If I were a famous actor, I would be Henry Calvin, so I could be Superman.*

5. Un(a) empresario/a / *A businessman.*

**a)** ¿Si fueras un(a) empresario/a famoso/a, quién serías? / *If you were a famous businessman, who would you be?*

**b)** Si yo fuera un(a) empresario/a famoso/a sería Elon Musk para ir al espacio. / *If I were a famous entrepreneur I would be Elon Musk to go into space.*

6. Un(a) deportista exitoso/a. / *A successful athlete.*

**a)** ¿Si fueras un(a) deportista exitoso/a, quién serías? / *If you were a successful athlete, who would you be?*

**b)** Si yo fuera un(a) deportista exitoso/a, sería Usain Bolt para tener el récord ,mundial. / *If I were a successful athlete, I would be Usain Bolt for the world record.*
