1. Imagine you meet someone on the street for an instant and fall in love at first sight, but they disappear among the people and now you want to find them. Write a letter to a newspaper describing them, saying why you’re looking for them and asking for the readers’ help.
2. You dial the wrong phone number on accident, meet someone, start to talk and fall in love. After some time, you have a date to meet in person, but everything turns out messy: they’re nothing like the idea you had based on their voice. Write a letter to a friend telling them about the date.
*Querido Bruno:*
Me equivoquĂ©.
Dear Bruno:
I have a lot to tell you. I went out with Sam last night, do you remember him? The one I met on the phone? We made a date to meet in person. We went to the movies, and then to a restaurant. After talking to him on the phone for months, I imagined he would be sophisticated, smart and sweet… I was wrong. When we were in the cinema, he talked during the whole movie, pointing out the things that reminded him of his football team. He didn’t even let me choose the movie. Then, he spent the whole dinner talking about himself and nothing else. I’ll have to keep looking for another person.
