Exercise 1
Step 1
1 of 3
Objective.
The purpose of this exercise is to practise the use of stressed forms of the indirect object with the verb “gustar”.
Step 2
2 of 3
Method.
Unstressed forms of the indirect object are given for each sentence. Analyse them and use the appropriate stressed form. You will notice that some of the unstressed forms (specifically, “le”, “les”) only give a grammatical hint of who the indirect object may be. In such cases, use either any or all possible pronouns. You may refer to the below solutions for further guidance.

3. ti
4. ellos / ellas / ustedes
Exercise 2
Step 1
1 of 4
Objective.
The purpose of this exercise is to practise the co-ordinated use of unstressed pronouns in function of the indirect object and the verb gustar with an infinitive as its subject.
Step 2
2 of 4
Method.
Stressed forms of the indirect object are given for each sentence. These will help you choose the appropriate unstressed pronoun. Then you will use the singular form of the verb “gustar” since an infinitive as subject is considered singular. The infinitive you choose depends on the last part of the sentence. Consult the below analysis for further clarification.
Step 3
3 of 4
Analysis.
The first sentence given is:

A mĂ ___ un DVD.

From the stressed form of the indirect object, we deduce that the unstressed form will be “me”. The verb “gustar” will be conjugated in singular for the above reasoning.

A mĂ me gusta _ un DVD.

The final step is to pick a verb in its infinitive form that fits “un DVD”. Even though you may “watch a DVD”, the intention of this exercise is to say “rent a DVD”. Thus, your solution should look like this:

A mĂ me gusta alquilar un DVD.

You may refer to the below solutions for further guidance.
