In this exercise, you need to finish the sentences.

You should write a reason why you get sick when you do certain activities.

We will write the model answer but still translate the whole sentence so you can better understand.

**Tip:** Because the answers relate to you, you should write the verbs in first-person forms.

1. … cuando **levanto pesas.**
(My arms hurt when I lift weights.)

Note how we used the first-person form of the verb *levantar (to lift)* and got *”levanto.”* We did this to all the other sentences, too.

2. …cuando **escribo mucho.**
(My hands hurt when I write a lot.)

3. … cuando **como mucho.**
(My stomach hurts when I eat a lot.)

4. … cuando **tomo mucho sol.**
(My skin hurts when I sunbathe a lot.)

In this exercise, you should describe your day at the beach from the morning until the evening in three sentences. Use the model sentences below as a reference to how your sentences should look like.

– Cuando estoy en la playa, tomo el sol en la mañana.
(When I am at the beach, I sunbathe in the morning.)

– En la playa juego al voleibol con mis amigos o hago esquí acuático .
(At the beach, I play volleyball with my friends or I water-ski.)

– En la tarde, ceno en un restaurante y después paseo por la playa.
(In the evening, I have dinner in a restaurant, and then I walk by the beach.)
