In this exercise, you should complete the sentences with activities you like to do on vacation.

Use the sentences below as a reference.

1. A mí me gusta **ir a los mercados locales y artesanías.**
*(I like to go to local markets and handicrafts.)*

**N.B.** The verb *gustar* in this construction is conjugated, but the verb that follows is in the infinitive.

Example: A ella le gusta *viajar*. *(She likes to travel.)*

2. Normalmente yo **me quedo en un hotel.**
*(I normally stay at a hotel.)*

3. Yo prefiero **ir de vacaciones con mis amigos.**
*(I prefer to go on vacation with my friends.)*

**N.B.** The verb *preferir* is followed by an infinitive.

4. Cuando voy de vacaciones, yo **compro muchos recuerdos para mi familia.**
*(When I go on vacation, I buy lots of souvenirs for my family.)*

5. En mis vacaciones, yo siempre **tomo muchos fotos.**

Since you are asked to write about a past event, you should use the preterite.
