The objective of this exercise is to practise Spanish vocabulary.

Method.
You will analyse each sentence and decide which word to use according to the context.

Analysis.

The first sentence implies an action related to music. Given the vocabulary, the logical option is to use “escuchar”.

The second sentence refers to studying and doind something during the weekend. This “something” logically refers to your homework, thus the solution should be “tarea”.

The third sentence suggests you should use a beverage word since the verb is “beber”. You may choose any beverage, even though the logical solution would be “agua”.

The last sentence prompts you to analyse the phrase “un rato con los amigos”. In Spanish, the adecuate verb in this phrase is “pasar”.

Objective.

Method.
You will pick three types of food and beverage to express your preferences. Remember that said food and beverage will be the subject of the verb “gustar”. This exercise addresses a current condition, thus you will respond in the present tense. Below, you will find examples of how your sentences should look like.

Examples.

Comida
1. (No) Me gusta comer arroz.
2. (No) Me gusta comer carne.
3. (No) Me gusta comer helado.

Bebida
1. (No) Me gusta beber agua.
2. (No) Me gusta beber jugo.
3. (No) Me gusta beber café.

Objective.
The objective of this exercise is to practise writing about your preferences in Spanish.

Method.
As the exercise suggests, you will respond about what you like and do not like to do on Saturdays and Sundays. Pick any activity according to your preferences. Below, you will find examples of how your sentences should look like.

Examples.

Let us begin with the affirmative responses. An example for each day is provided.

Example 1: Los sábados me gusta salir con mis amigos.
Example 2: Los domingos me gusta almorzar con mi familia.

The following two examples will address your negative responses. Simply convert the whole affirmative verbal expression into negative by adding “no” in front of it.

Example 1: Los sábados no me gusta estudiar.
Example 2: Los domingos no me gusta comer pizza.
