Then, you will use the appropriate conjugated form of either “decir”, “venir”, “poner” or “traer” in the present tense to complete these sentences. Remember to always match the verb with the subject. Then, you will complete them by using the appropriate conjugated form of the given verb. When the verb is transitive, give it a direct object. If the verb is intransitive, give it a verbal complement. Remember to always match the verb with the grammatical subject. Given the number of varieties of adecuate responses, only use the below examples as a reference.

The objective of this exercise is to practise writing in Spanish whilst using irregular verbs.

Method.
For this exercise, you will write four sentences about what you do when you go to a birthday party. You will use at least four different verbs from the following list: “dar”, “poner”, “venir”, “traer”, “decir”, “salir”. Given the personal nature of this exercise, only use the below example as a reference.

Example.

Cuando mis amigos dan una fiesta de cumpleaños, siempre llego primero. Traigo regalos y pongo decoraciones. Vengo siempre con un buen humor. Siempre les digo “¡Feliz cumpleaños!” a mis amigos y les doy un abrazo.
