Method.
In this exercise, there is a text about a family reunion. Read it carefully to understand its meaning. Then, head onto the statements section and decide whether each statement it true (cierto; C) or false (falso; F). Below, you will find an analysis of each statement.

La reunión es el veintiséis de julio.

This statement is about the date of the reunion. It says it is on the 26th July, whereas in the text you can see that the date is the 29th. Hence, this statement is false.

La familia Serrano es más grande que antes.

Take a look at the second row. It says how this time there are more people because there will be two newborns. This means that the statement is true.

Irma es abuela de más de cuarenta chicos.

In line four, you will see that Irma is bringing her nine children, who are also bringing their children. Then it says that this is more than forty kids. Thus, this is a true statement.

Juan no tiene hijos.

Back to line four, you have read that Juan is Irma’s husband, which means that this statement is false.

El veintinueve de julio es el cumpleaños de Juan.

At the end of the text, you will see that the day of the reunion is Juan’s birthday. You already know that it is on the 29th July, thus this statement is true.
