For this exercise, you will write complete sentences about what people order at a restaurant and what the waiter actually serves. You are given the first direct object, the first grammatical subject and the second direct object. The second subject will be “el camarero”, whilst the two verbs are “pedir” and “servir”, respectively. Remember to always match the verb with the subject. You may follow the below solutions for further guidance.

In adversative sentences – those with the conjunctions like “pero, sino” (but) -, always use the comma.

Example 1: Pido el café, pero el camarero me sirve té.
Example 2: No pido té, sino [pido] café.
