If I’m inside the house, I’m going to close all doors and windows and stay far away from them. I’ll stay in the basement or in a central room on the lowest floor of the house. When the tornado comes, I’ll crouch down to the ground, and cover myself with a blanket to protect myself from small falling debris.
If I’m in the car, it’s best to pull over and try to find the nearest safe place to stay.
