In this exercise, you need to make a list of things you carry in your bag when going out with friends. So, you could write:

* **el teléfono celular**: my cell phone
**el dinero**: my money
**las gafas de sol**: my sunglasses
**un libro**: a book

Then, you need to write a five sentence note to your friend, telling them what they need to carry in their bag when they go out. Use the subjunctive mode and the expressions **en caso de que** (in case that), **antes de que** (before that), and **para que** (so that).

So, you could write:

*Cuando salgamos, lleva un libro en caso de que te aburras. Lleva protector solar en caso de que haya sol. Antes de que te olvides, lleva el dinero para Melisa. Lo necesita para que pueda viajar en autobús. Lleva las gafas de sol para proteger tus ojos!*
When we go out, take a book in case you get bored. Take sunscreen in case there’s sun out. Before you forget, bring the money for Melisa. She needs it so that she can travel by bus. Bring your sunglasses to protect your eyes!

The first thing you have to do, is to make a list of things you carry in your bag when you go out with Friends. So, you can answer this:
1. Los documentos personales (*Personal Documents*)
2. Dinero (*money*)

4. Agenda y lapicero (*Agenda and pen*)

As a second step, you are going to use the information above and write a note, of five sentences, telling him what things he needs to bring in the bag to go out. You must also use the subjunctive mode and the following expressions: **en caso de que** (*in case that*), **antes de que** (*before that*) and **para que** (*so what*).

**Antes de que** vayas a viajar recuerda guardar todos los documentos personales en el bolso. Lleva el dinero suficiente **para que** puedas comprar lo que necesitas durante el viaje. Es muy importante que lleves el celular para que me llames **en caso de que** no encuentres la dirección. También lleva una agenda y lapicero para que puedas organizar el itinerario del viaje. Puedes tomar notas también de los regalos que quieres comprar para tus padres, cuando regreses.

***Before** you go to travel remember to keep all personal documents in your bag. Bring enough money **so that** you can buy what you need during the trip. It is very important that you bring your cell phone so that you can call me **in case** you cannot find the address. Also bring an agenda and pen so you can organize the itinerary of the trip. You can also take notes of the gifts you want to buy for your parents when you return.*
