This section asks you to guess which classmate your partner is thinking of solely by asking yes or no questions, and then switch roles. You are going to have different questions than others, so in this section you will simply be provided with a few helpful tips to get started.

Since adjectives are gendered, you will quickly be able to figure out if the person is a girl or boy. In the example given, we see the responder correcting the gender of the word “classmate”, which lets the questioner narrow the possibilities down to just the girls in the class.

Asking questions about physical appearance will be the quickest way to figure out who your partner is thinking of, things like “are they tall?” or “are they blonde?”. You can review the adjectives from the beginning of this chapter if you need a refresher.
