Exercise 1
Step 1
1 of 2
This exercise asks us to use at least three of the given phrases to describe one of the people pictured at the bottom of the page. In order to do this, you have to be aware of the genders being indicated in the given sentences. That is, do not use a sentence with *Él* as the subject if you’re describing a woman, and vice versa with *ella* and men.
Step 2
2 of 2
For example, let’s say I’m describing person C to my partner. I might choose the phrases (in English):
“This is Mrs. Matute. She is my Spanish teacher. She is from Spain”.
These three phrases would be enough to indicate person C since she is an older woman who could be a teacher, who could conceivably be from Spain.
