This exercise asks you to, with a partner, perform a scene and have your classmates guess which of three pictures in the textbook you’ve based your conversation off of. You are asked to write a conversation for each scene, and then choose one to perform.
This exercise is intended to work on your speaking ability with vocabulary from the chapter.

There are a few key items in these pictures that you can use in your conversations in order to easily convey which picture you’re basing your scene off of. For example, in the first one, notice the clock on the wall. Since we’ve covered “time of day” vocabulary, we can work it into our conversation. For the second picture, using vocabulary associated with the classroom should help narrow it down for your classmates. Finally, the phone number vocabulary should help on the third photograph.
