Islamophobia by definition can be seen as the fear of or biased point of view towards Islam, Muslims and issues concerning them. Islamophobia is not a new phenomenon but we are familiar with the fact that many Muslim communities more so in the United States are experiencing a progressively more hostile environment towards them characterized by mistrust, inherent prejudice and unawareness and, in some cases, substantial and verbal persecution.
