The strongest wind is the silent attack or the thing we don’t immediately say in rebuttal or support. IN the end, this was used again because her mother could scream and yell at her and use this as a teachable moment, but instead she stayed silent and kept doing what she was.

When Waverly was playing her game (p 41-42), the game came to life and she used the techniques taught to her (p 34) and she won, lost in the game and seeing no one around her. Later on (p 57) the family changed much of their home and lifestyle to support her, but as in the game, she did not notice what was going on around her at the time. She did not see the pride and support from her family. This came to a head (p 58) when all her mother wanted in return was to show her off and be proud.
