Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave a speech on the steps of the Lincoln memorial in Washington DC where many people came to hear what he had to say. In his speech, he spoke of being here to cash a check and how he refused to the believe this country was bankrupt of justice. He goes on to thank those who have already found a way to stand up for the justice and for the sacrifices they have made. His list of dreams for his family, his friends and this nation sums up the desires and rights that everyone should have. Finally, he names various places not only of the country, but of where tragedy has struck, citing Let Freedom Ring”
