In this exercise, you have to think of what life was like for young people in your country in the 20th century.

You have to think of ways how you would make their lives easier and better. You have to work with another student to come up with ideas. Write down any idea you have and once you have a big enough number, reread them and choose which ones you want to use.

You have to talk about the following subjects: school, community, poor countries and government.

Before starting to write, do some research in the library or online. Look up what life was like in the 20th century and how it is different from your life now. Make some notes when you see the differences, especially if you think it was more difficult then. Also note down differences you find among different countries, because life was not the same in every country in the world. That way you can also make contrasts and maybe say what was good in one country and that maybe some other country should have done the same and you can investigate if that has changed in the meantime.

It is easiest to make a table with each subject and then list your ideas and suggestions about the improvements you would make and maybe make suggestions on how they could be introduced and implemented.
