In this exercise, we are talking about legends and mysteries known to people all around the world. Here you have to think of a legend you know, you have heard on the radio or saw on the television about aliens or unexplained phenomenons. You have to complete a table about the phenomenon.

In the table, you should put several rows and complete them with the information you know and found out:

1.) Name of the program, book or movie where you have found out about it
2.) Public argument
3.) Some examples of sightings
4.) Characters involved
5.) Where it happened
6.) When it happened
7.) What is the outcome

If you cannot remember all the information from your source, you can always use additional sources, like the Internet.

For the second exercise, you have to play a game with your class. In the first exercise, you had to make a list of information about a phenomenon or a mystery you wanted to talk about. Now you have to guess each group’s television program, book or movie they might have chosen, without them telling you in advance.

To make it more interesting, each group has to change one piece of information they put in their tables. You can change any information in the table, which will throw the rest of the groups off their path and make them guess wrong.
The group that guesses the most programs, books or movies, wins the game.
