You have to read the article about whales and the Internacional whaling commission.

The article talks about a meeting of a commission. The meeting had several points, one of the whether to give permission to Japan to continue hunting whales, which it did not receive. It also talked about creating a sanctuary for whales in South Atlantic.

1.) Un santuario es un refugio natural.
2.) En la reuníon de la Comisión Ballenera Internacional se votó sobre la creación del santuario ballenero y sobre el permiso que quería Japón para continuar a cazar las ballenas por el comercio.
3.) Creo que sí ha sido positivo que Japón no obtuvo el permiso para continuar a cazar las ballenas porque con eso podrían matarlas cuantas quisieran y eso disminuiría el número de las ballenas en la naturaleza y libertad.
4.) Con la creación del santuario de las ballenas se lograría su protección.
5.) Nunca he ido a un lugar donde se puedan observar las ballenas, me parece triste verlas en captividad.
