This is a reading exercise, you have to read a text about Atlantis.

The following exercise will be a question exercise, so for the second reading of the text, it is best if you first read the questions from exercise 2 and write down keywords that will help you find correct answers in the text.

For example, the third question in exercise 2 is „what happened to Crete?“ so here the keyword is „Crete“. This is important to find the text when reading it and that is where your answer will be. When doing a reading exercise, it is important to know what the text is about and understand it enough to be able to find the keywords for the following exercises.

1. Sobre la Atlántida si fue realmente una isla o sólo un misterio. 2. Una civilización que se hundió. La gente cree que es un mito. 3. Su civilización se derrumbó en la cumbre de su desarrollo. 4. Se dice que luego de que se derrumbó Creta, vino una ola gigante que la cubrió y Atlántida tambien se hundió.

Comment about what is mentioned about the legend of Atlantis. How many of you think it is true? Do you think there is enough evidence that the Atlantis actually existed?

Creo que el misterio de la Atlántida es una noción muy interesante y divertida, pero que no es un hecho histórico. Una civilización con tecnología muchísimo más avanzada de la que tenemos hoy, una sociedad justa, democrática y pacífica, todo eso es algo que queremos tener hoy, así que imaginar todo eso, y aún más,que hubiera existido, es algo que nos interesa a todos. Creo que de una u otra manera podemos relazionar la existencia de la Atlántida con otra civilización o una ciudad antigua, y tal vez nunca sabremos la verdad, pero no hay pruebas suficientes como para estar seguros.
