Elie Wiesel’s memoir “night” is both heartbreaking and shocking having a close look at the things that took place during the atrocities of the Holocaust. Forgetting the incidences that took place during this time is like forgetting the lives of those Jews and citizens who lost their lives during the Holocaust. Elie Wiesel takes us through the incidences he had to go through with his own father in the progress of the Holocaust. The Holocaust is generally categorized with its cruelty and lack of love and respect for human life and was one of the most awful incidences to ever take place in the history of war.

The incidences that took place during this war pass a certain lesson and theme in the life of the living generation and the survivors of the Holocaust. The main themes featured are the theme of forgiveness, human torture, respect for human life and mainly warfare in the community. By reading the progress of this Holocaust, many ideas must come to mind like the idea that we should respect religion, no matter how different it is from the faith that we hold for ourselves. Even if it’s an incidence of war, the use of such cruel methods of taking life should not be used like killing young children and poisoning people with gas.

They left a Jewish community in agony, unbelievable torture and life misbelief on what they were actually going through.
