What is Circulation?
Circulation is the process by which blood, lymph, and other fluids are transported throughout the body. The circulatory system is made up of organs and tissues that work together to move these fluids. This includes the heart, arteries, veins, capillaries, and lymphatic vessels. The main role of circulation is to deliver oxygen and nutrients to cells throughout the body and remove waste products from them. It also helps regulate body temperature and PH levels as well as transport hormones around the body.The human circulatory system has four main components: the heart, blood vessels (arteries and veins), blood itself (which carries oxygen, nutrients, waste products), and lymphatic vessels (which carry a clear fluid called lymph). The heart pumps blood throughout the body via arteries in order to deliver oxygenated blood to organs and tissues so they can function optimally. Veins then take deoxygenated blood back to the heart for re-oxygenation before it passes out of the body again through veins or capillaries. Lymphatic vessels play an important role in immunity by carrying white blood cells around the body and helping fight off infections.Circulation plays an essential role in many aspects of human health including digestion, immune system functioning, metabolism regulation/weight maintenance, respiration/breathing efficiency etcetera. It is also important for maintaining homeostasis or balance within our bodies; without proper circulation we would not be able to get rid of toxins or maintain healthy temperatures in our bodies. Lack of adequate circulation can lead to a variety of serious health problems including stroke risk factors such poor cholesterol levels or high blood pressure as well as diseases like deep vein thrombosis (DVT) which occurs when a clot forms in a vein due blocked flow from lack of movement. In conclusion it can be said that proper circulation plays an integral part in keeping us healthy both physically & mentally; taking care of our bodies with regular exercise & eating right can help ensure that we maintain optimal flow which will benefit all aspects related to our wellbeing.
