Undoubtedly, the integration of computers into daily life has brought numerous benefits to human civilization. Personally, a standout moment for me was my first computer class in school. This marked the merging of physical reality with the digital realm and revealed boundless opportunities. At first, I learned how to power up a computer by pressing its button, launch programs, and engage in typing activities. The actual experience exceeded my expectations a

Overcoming my initial fear and hesitancy, I embraced the wonders of digital technology. As I grew older, computer networks became familiar and by sixth grade, our classroom had two computers. Though mainly used for exercises, my fascination grew when I discovered the vast world of the internet. My first online experience happened at my mom's work station where I played a thrilling game of checkers with someone from another part of the world. With time, I learned effective online communication and developed a deep interest in this virtual realm. Eventually, after much persuasion, my mom agreed to buy me a personal computer for my bedroom.
At first, I spent a lot of time talking to strangers on the computer from my bedroom. But eventually, I got tired of it and realized that meeting people in person
was more fulfilling than interacting with anonymous users online. Still, using the internet helped me learn practical skills like logging into and turning off a computer, improving my typing speed, and playing games while socializing online. Basically, digital technology made me an active member of a virtual community.
My passion for computers has led me to pursue a career in Computer Science at university. What started as simple computer usage, such as playing internet games and chatting online, has now become a dream come true. My knowledge of computers has proven invaluable during my time in college, allowing me to complete assignments faster and work online while still attending classes. Choosing my degree was an easy decision because of my continued interest and love for computers. I conducted extensive research on various courses and attended lectures to better understand the content of each subject. It amazes me how natural everyday IT skills like typing and software accounts feel to me, almost akin to the duties of a legal secretary.
