During the 1920’s and 1930’s, most people held the ideology that systems of governance like Nazism or communism were the best systems and nothing could be truer. These people had no belief, whatsoever, in the ideology of democracy, that is, the majority rule. Moreover, they did not see the democracy as a viable replacement to the monarchical systems of governance that had been in place for centuries. Following this notion, people saw that one governmental system was enough and the citizens needed not put their input on how they should be governed.
