During the late seventies, Paul and his close friend Trevor Fung started playing soul music at a wine bar in Convent Garden. After visiting New York City and witnessing the emergence of Hip Hop music, Paul secured an A&R position at Champion when he returned to London. He made history by signing significant Hip Hop acts like Salt and Pepa, as well as Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince. Whilst on holiday in Ibiza, Paul experienced unique music at a relatively unknown club called 'Amnesia'. He loved it so much that he brought it back to England with him. In contrast, DJ EZ has only been active for the past decade and fully realized his potential in the past six years. His DJ career began at age 15 on a pirate station, and he played at school discos and local house parties in 1988 and 1989.

As he hopped from one radio station to another, his ambitious nature and DJ skills gained him recognition. He dazzled the audience with his silky mixing and cut and drop techniques at an emerging garage night called 'Garage Nation' during his tenure at Freak Fm. In 1999, he secured a prime time slot on the youthful radio station Kiss Fm and was acknowledged as the ninth-best DJ in Kiss' top 100 DJ polls while bagging underground DJ awards. In February 2000, he released his first compilation titled 'Pure Garage,' which went Platinum, followed by a series of Pure Garage releases.

Dj EZ has played a crucial role in popularizing Underground Garage, thanks to his Pure Garage Compilations. As a DJ, he is an inspiration to many aspiring artists, constantly showcasing new turntable and mixing techniques in his sets. Having a wealth of experience

in scratching and manipulating beats, he showcased his skills as England's representative at the 1989 DMC's Scratch Masters competition. He kicked off his career as a DJ during the late 80s by spinning Hip Hop and Reggae tracks on one of the most notable pirate radio stations – Fantasy FM. In the 90s, he received numerous prestigious awards for his work, such as Best Male DJ and Best Radio DJ. Additionally, he unveiled 'Drum and Bass Selection,' his inaugural official compilation album that was made available to fans.

Roni Size was a key figure in the rise of Drum and Bass, leading to prosperous compilations such as Jungle Massive in mainstream music.
