What is Central Nervous System Consists Of?

The Central Nervous System (CNS) is an incredibly complex, but essential system of the human body. It is responsible for controlling and coordinating all of the body’s functionsskeletal, muscular, sensory, cognitive, and more. The CNS consists of two main components: the brain and the spinal cord. The brain is the most complex organ in the body and serves as its command center. It is composed of several distinct regions that work together to control everything from movement to emotions. The three major divisions are the cerebrum, which contains four lobes; the diencephalon; and the brainstem. Each region has its own specific tasks that are necessary for day-to-day functioning.The spinal cord runs down through your spine from your neck to your lower back and connects directly with each vertebrae along its length. This cord is responsible for sending signals between your brain and body parts such as muscles neurons, glands, organs etc., allowing them to communicate with each other quickly and efficiently no matter where they are located in relation to one another in order for you to move or react appropriately when necessary. Together these components of the CNS make up a highly sophisticated communication network that allows us to perceive sensation from our environment, interpret information accordingly through conscious thought processes, interact with one another socially via language use or other forms of communication such as sign language or writing systems, store memories both short term or long term depending on how often we need to recall something etc., coordinate voluntary movements such as typing on a computer keyboard or walking across a room safely without running into things etc., regulate unconscious bodily functions like breathing rate heart rate digestion appetite sleep patterns etc., maintain homeostasis throughout our bodies by monitoring temperature blood pressure hormone levels nutrient absorption energy balance etc., create new ideas form opinions learn skills problem solve make decisions plan ahead anticipate consequences be creative express emotions recognize facial expressions sense danger respond appropriately remember past events process visual sound tactile olfactory sensations effectively without getting overwhelmed by them so much so that those experiences can be recollected consciously later on if neededand lastly help us survive in this world.
