I feel that religious beliefs are based on related scriptures. Regardless of the denomination or religion that one professes his/her approach to life can take any course. It would seem that while religions are based on documents of historical nature, they are evolving with time. In the opinion, Christianity and Islam are more or fewer ones and the same thing even though they origins are distinct. The Koran and the Bible include some minor differences but have a large percentage of similarities.

The notion that the Koran is in many ways similar to the Bible is one that I support. The presence of common teachers and teachings in both contexts is the first factor that reveals congruence. Further assistance for the idea comes from the belief in a higher being with the authority to reward fellowship. The Koran and Bible emphasize on

morality as a factor of prime significance. As a Christian, I agree that love and peace are two factor of prime significance and that they define people. The Ten Commandments advocate for love and peace just as emphasized in Islam teachings.

In my view, the concept of the disparity between the two Holy Books is supported by minor subjects. For instance, referring to chapters and verses as suras and ayat does not mean a difference in the underlying message. Similarly, the titles Muhammad and Jesus do not deter the principles of the religions.

In conclusion, Islam and Christianity are perhaps similar. The argument in support of this opinion is founded on the facts that, besides the change of titles and difference in religious origins, the fundamental principles are similar. Christianity emphasizes on purity but equally advocate
