This is an in-class activity. Your teacher will draw 2 triangles on the chalkboard, each separated horizontally into 5 sections. These triangles are intended to represent mountains.

This is an in-class activity. Your class will be divided into 2 teams. A person from each team will go to the board, one person at each triangle. Your professor will give you a verb. Each student will need to conjugate the verb in the present subjunctive tense, beginning with the “yo” form at the bottom of the “mountain” (followed by, tú, él/ella/Ud, nosotros, and then ellos/ellas/Uds. from bottom to top). If the student makes an error conjugating the verb, the teacher will say “avalancha”, and the student will have to erase the words and start over. The team that writes all the forms first wins.
