Sensory perception is limited in its ability to explore or confirm the existence of God due to its constraints. The senses can only detect tangible materials, while God is an invisible and intangible supernatural being. As a result, sensory perception cannot investigate God's existence. Additionally, sensory perception is capable of sensing only finite materials with physical attributes such as mass, lifespan, size, or form. Since God does not possess these qualities, perceiving God's existence becomes difficult for sensory perception.
The presence of God can be explored and confirmed through logical inference. This approach argues that a divine being is essential to account for the existence of human life and the universe. It is based on the idea that such a creation necessitates extensive knowledge, deliberate intention, and careful planning. Hence, the Creator must possess eternal, self-sustaining, and un
...paralleled qualities. As a result, God can be recognized as the limitless Creator with immeasurable power, wisdom, knowledge, and existence.
The text affirms that God is singular and unparalleled in every aspect, which serves as evidence for the existence of God. In certain circumstances, relying on testimonies can be employed to support the existence of God. For instance, prophets are constantly connected to God and can share instances of divine goodness or events to demonstrate God's existence. Additionally, prophets serve as messengers of God and possess the capability to exhibit the presence of God.
People often worship individuals such as the powerful, politicians, forefathers, deceased individuals, or even saints. Allah states that no one else should be worshipped besides Him. While human beings may mislead, Allah is supreme and has the ability to guide people properly. Many Muslims refuse to worshi
other individuals who may be politicians, sports champions, or comedians, as they have become objects of worship for some individuals. This goes against the desires of Allah.
According to the Quran, individuals tend to worship themselves by following personal low desires, feelings, opinions, whims, and lusts. This self-worship is disregarded by Allah, who is the God above all. Other powerful individuals like the rich and politicians often act as gods of the people. Pharaoh, for example, asked people to worship him.
It is deemed incorrect to engage in self-worship in the presence of Allah. Science plays a vital role in tackling worldly issues, but it solely focuses on limited and tangible things. As a result, it is incapable of elucidating other concepts like angels, the human soul, or the existence of God. Hence, science should not be revered since it fails to acknowledge the existence of God.
In various ways, Science is capable of elucidating the distinct processes, their characteristics, and origins. However, it lacks the ability to comprehend and clarify the role and existence of God in the world. Consequently, it is inappropriate to venerate Science. Through the application of theories, Science strives to clarify the mechanisms and reasons behind diverse phenomena. Nevertheless, these theories persistently cast doubt on the existence of God, an aspect that is deemed unacceptable.
Therefore, science should not be worshipped as it opposes the will of Allah. Although wealth is an important aspect of human life, it should not be worshipped as it is unable to solve certain life-threatening issues. For instance, wealth cannot purchase human peace and happiness, whereas Allah can provide them without charge. God is the one who grants wealth
and riches, and Allah has the ability to increase, decrease, or even reclaim all the wealth. Hence, since Allah is the source of wealth, it is inappropriate for anyone to worship wealth instead of Allah.
The worship of money and wealth can emerge when individuals become materialistic, so it is crucial for people to refrain from glorifying these material possessions and instead direct their admiration towards Allah, the ultimate provider. It is essential to prioritize Allah as the central figure of worship, rejecting other entities that falsely present themselves as gods. Currently, there exists a worshipping of diverse entities such as animals, Satan, and Magic in the world.
The human rights commission permits individuals to freely exercise their religion, provided it does not cause harm to others in society. As a result, there is a growing population embracing various cults like Illuminati or devil worshippers, alongside those who have faith in the supernatural abilities of magic and animals. However, the most substantial faction of people by a significant margin idolizes money, wealth, and riches.
In a capitalist world, people have a strong belief in the power of money and are constantly striving to obtain material resources. This pursuit of power has caused many individuals to idolize their accumulated possessions and resources over time. However, Prophet Muhammad served as an inspiring role model for Muslims and others by leading an exemplary life that focused on educating people about the significance of morality and justice within society. He also emphasized the active involvement of a creator in their lives, stressed the unity of God, and warned against worshiping false deities or idols.
Following this, there was a surge in mass opposition
against him in Makkah. Those who converted to Islam were subjected to serious threats. Additionally, physical, social, and economic boycotts were imposed, and Muslims were severely tortured and beaten. It is particularly distressing that Sumayya, the first Muslim martyr, was killed. The Prophet resolved these challenges by relocating to Madinah. In Madinah, the main issue that endangered the success of the Muslim community was the attack launched by the Pagans of Makkah.
Despite the presence of war, Prophet Muhammad managed to resolve all conflicts by taking part in the Peace Treaty of Al-Hudaibiyah. This treaty united governors, emperors, and leaders to create a coalition that greatly benefited the growth of Muslim followers. Since then, the Muslim religion has been experiencing rapid expansion. Even today, some of these ideas continue to be present in our literature and media platforms.
There is a widespread belief that the teachings of prophets are causing division in families and disrupting global unity. This perception is often driven by media outlets, which promote the idea that Muslim teachings endorse violence against non-Muslims. These narratives contribute to the belief that prophets intentionally seek to create divisions within society. There are even suspicions that prophets have modified the Quran to serve their own interests. Stereotypes also exist, such as the notion that a Muslim warrior who dies will be rewarded with twelve virgins from Allah. As a result of these propagandas, the Muslim faith faces rejection in various parts of the world.
Media, newspapers, and magazines play a significant role in propagating propaganda and exacerbating societal division. Prophet emphasized essential points in his speech at the Valley of Mount Arafat that hold immense importance for the
Muslim community. From my perspective, the second point emphasizes the crucial nature of treating others with kindness and respect to prevent harm. This implies that by displaying goodness towards others, we can anticipate receiving it in return. Ultimately, it encourages treating others as we desire to be treated ourselves. Presently, Muslims stand as the sole religious group unaffected by corruption.
People who prioritize environmental protection also fulfill their religious obligations, including praying five times a day and fasting during Ramadan. Moreover, they participate in Hajj and demonstrate compassion for the less fortunate by giving Zakat.
Despite living in the modern world, Muslims still maintain their religious practices, including daily prayer and providing assistance to those in need. Various charitable and humanitarian organizations, supported by mosques and Muslim leaders, work towards alleviating poverty.
On February 3rd, 2016, President Obama visited an American mosque and delivered a speech specifically addressing American Muslims. The speech can be accessed through the provided link.
In this response, please share your thoughts on five significant points from the speech that captured your attention or hold personal importance to you. For each point, provide 1-5 sentences reflecting your thoughts.
President Obama's speech encompassed the following key points regarding American Muslims:
Religious leaders have a duty to speak out against extremism. President Obama acknowledged this responsibility and stressed that no religion holds superiority over another in combating radicalization.
In brief, it is important that leaders do not coerce individuals into embracing a religion they do not choose. Every person has the freedom to practice their own religion as they see fit. Furthermore, our country should reject political language that discriminates against Muslim-Americans.
After Donald Trump made divisive comments about race, I
have closely monitored the political happenings. President Obama recently addressed the present political climate in the United States, with a specific focus on Trump's discrimination against Muslim Americans. A noteworthy occurrence was when Trump advocated for registering all Muslims in a database, an act that I view as encroaching upon privacy and infringing upon the essential human right to freedom of choice. Nevertheless, it is crucial to bear in mind that we are all members of a single American family.
President Obama stressed the importance of leaders serving the people to foster equality among religions and races in America. He affirmed that all individuals, regardless of their race, are treated as equals and considered American citizens while living in the country. He strongly condemned any type of discrimination, isolation, or segregation. Additionally, he praised the Islamic Society of Baltimore for representing America's diverse array of cultures.
The Islamic Society of Baltimore, the oldest society of Muslims in America, has played a pivotal role in shaping and contributing to the nation. It embodies the true essence of America. I believe that the President's intention was to highlight the significance of acknowledging Islam as an essential component of America, thus advocating against any discrimination towards Muslims.
5. Some individuals who resort to violence are using religion as a justification for their actions. In the aftermath of the Paris attack, I share the belief that extremists (terrorists) are distorting Islam in order to hide their cruel acts. Drawing from my comprehension of recent terrorist incidents, these perpetrators are disguising themselves within the Islamic faith. I am of the opinion that the president aimed to caution the international community that terrorism is
not associated with any specific religion, but rather it is a strategy employed by attackers who exploit the Muslim religion to further their global agenda.
