Hamric's model provides a detailed analysis of academic strategies and the development of professional competencies in upcoming nurses. This is crucial as it ensures that future nurses can easily incorporate these competencies into their practice. The mode
also demonstrates how evidence-based research can be used to promote these competencies by addressing gaps in the system.
