Adolf Alois Hitler, born on April 20, 1889, was a Nazi German politician and the leader of the Socialist German Workers' Party, also known as the Nazi Party. Born in Austria, Hitler ruled Germany from 1933 to 1945, serving as the Reichskanzler (adviser to the state) and later as the Fuhrer (leader) of Germany.
