What is Histology?

These tools allow researchers to identify different structures within cells that were previously impossible or difficult to observe without special equipment (such as organelles). Histologists use these tools in medical laboratories around the world for diagnosis and research purposes. For instance, they may take biopsies from patients with suspected diseases or examine human tissues after death for forensic studies. Histological tests can also be used in research studies involving cell biology, genetics, immunology, endocrinology, neurology, pharmacology and more. Overall, histology is an essential field of study that has greatly contributed to our understanding of human biology over time. It has enabled us to better diagnose diseases and understand how various body systems work together on a microscopic level providing invaluable insights into health science today.
