What is AP Psychology?
AP Psychology is a college-level course that introduces students to the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. The aim of this course is to teach students how to think critically about psychological phenomena in order to gain insight into human behavior and mental processes. This course provides an introduction to psychology, covering topics such as development, learning, memory, social interaction, physiology, personality differences, research methods and more. In addition, AP Psychology also covers some advanced topics like evolutionary psychology or abnormal psychology.The content of this course will challenge students who have no prior knowledge in the subject matter with its complexity. With this being said though, it will be rewarding once they understand the concepts better and can apply them on their own lives or use it for future studies.
