Having a job is essential in today's society, even though many individuals wake up feeling unsatisfied with their occupation. As working class members, we must learn to accept it. Fenton is an ordinary person who works at Seaboard World Airlines and goes to work daily.

Fenton stands apart from others due to his intense dislike for his job. This is evident in his discussions about it. One notable example is his description of Tuesdays as the most dreadful day of the week, as it signifies the beginning of monotony, tedium, and exhaustion. Furthermore, Fenton expresses his belief that the company's owners regard the cargo loaders as insignificant individuals who possess no value beyond their labor.

Nevertheless, Fenton's situation is different as his work is nothing short of unbearable. Through reading about Fenton's ordeal, it becomes evident that he has lost all hope. He portrays a bleak future where his sole occupation is to load cargo planes.

Contrary to the belief that there is no hope, Fenton's co-worker Kevin demonstrates otherwise. Like Fenton, Kevin also experienced a period of despair until he was offered a chance to join the fire department. Despite taking five years to accomplish this objective, what truly matters is that he never lost hope. If I were in Fenton's position, I would recognize that there is still potential for enhancing my own life. From my viewpoint, this essay underscores the significance of determination and illustrates that nothing is impossible or unattainable; it simply requires a determined mindset.
