The grading rubric at Northeastern University is straightforward and inflexible. I know this because I was once suspended for 180 days due to a failure to comply. In Montgomery, Alabama, we say "it is what it is" when things cannot be changed. If you complete assignments as instructed, you should do well. I believe Northeastern is here to assist us in succeeding, but ultimately, it is up to us to meet course requirements. In the PhD program at Northeastern, grades of B or higher are required for credit. The mandatory writing format is PAP and failure to follow it can result in rejection by faculty.
