Moving to the United States from Russia at the age of thirteen, I was faced with a culture shock.
This was a different environment with different culture and language. I had to struggle to fit into this new society. I had to learn the language and the thinking of the people. I also had to change the way I used to do things so that I could fit well into the society.
This is when I realized actually I had the skills to understand people's personalities and motives. Working as an accountant has also given me an opportunity to interact with a lot of people. Where finances are involved, a lot of emotions are also involved. I had to understand people's thinking.

Furthermore, I am a responsible and detail-oriented professional with the ability to multi-task. I am also an efficient, project focused professional with excellent problem solving and analytical abilities.
This life experience will enable me to contribute to graduate experience at Zicklin in that I will be able to easily understand how people at Zicklin think and easily adapt and work well with them. Also, my multi-tasking ability will enable me to undertake my studies and at the same time work to support myself. This makes a great individual for the Zicklin community.
