If I had been working alongside Elizabeth Cady Stanton, I would have fought for women’s rights day and night. I also would have marched for female suffrage, and equal rights for African American women. Many people fought against giving women the vote and this was and is a horrible thing. The work was important, however, so we should all be advocates for women and fight for their rights.
