After Vikings and Mongols were settled on their new territories, they had open trade with other communities. Mongols had little more opened trade and easier. They could trade through Silk Road and Indian Ocean. Therefore, Mongols expanded and connected trade market all the way from Eastern Asia to Europe and Africa. Unfortunately, by connecting Asia, Europe and Africa, the grim and unstoppable disaster occurred in all over the world.The plague called Black Death was one of the greatest impacts which killed more than one thirds of Europeans.

For both Vikings and Mongols organizing and governing their new territories were difficult. Even though Mongols had difficulties to organize before Chinggis Khan, however, Mongols were more organized and tolerant to original people.

Main Mongols used horses so that they could report fast what was going on through all regions.Mongols showed tolerance in religion because it was allowed to believe any religion you wanted unless you turn back on Mongols. Vikings and Mongols have more similarities than differences because they were both raiding peoples and their reason of raid was similar. Even though, there transportations were different, it was fast, quiet and fearful. We still see many existing impacts in modern world such as language. Language of Scandinavian became part of Standard English.
