The focus of this study is to explore the controversies surrounding the connection between admiration for computer gaming and violence that have been prevalent since the ass's. There are studies suggesting that a significant number of delinquents have engaged in video games before committing crimes. Despite limited evidence supporting this claim, we aim to provide insights on this matter.

This research aims to provide an extensive background on addiction among teenagers, specifically focusing on gaming whether it is played on a PC or console. The paper addresses psychological aspects of a gamer's behavior influenced by various factors found in games, ranging from violent themes to educational ones.

Considering the increasing popularity of computer games, it is crucial to investigate both the positive and negative effects associated with their usage. Therefore, this study aims to examine the psychological factors contributing to game addiction and establish a correlation between violence and specific gaming genres. The objective of this research is to explore the influence of game development on human behavior, specifically why many young people choose gaming as a form of isolation instead of seeking social interaction, which can lead to addiction. This study holds significance for education, technology, and psychology fields. It serves as a valuable reference for students in understanding the appeal of modern technological marvels and computer addiction. Furthermore, it provides psychologists and sociologists with deeper insights into the subject matter, leading to improved treatment options. This research paper focuses on examining the impact

of PC/Console games on today's society, with a specific focus on students who make up the majority of gamers. The aim is to determine whether this form of entertainment has a positive or negative influence. To gather valuable data addressing the problem being studied, an oral interview was conducted with gamers at a local computer shop. The interview took place on April 4th, 2014 from 13:00 to 15:00 and involved five students who were actively engaged in gameplay during questioning. They were asked five questions related to their background and the impact of gaming on their academic performance. The survey covered various topics related to gaming, such as the participants' introduction to gaming, frequency of play, effect on class standing, perception of gaming as positive or negative, and genre preference. Throughout the survey process, all five students displayed great cooperation. The data collected revealed that three out of the five interviewees performed exceptionally well in school despite spending approximately eight hours a day playing games. These three individuals were childhood friends who frequently played together and had a preference for the MOB genre, specifically League of Legends (LOL). The fourth interviewee was a scholar at FEE-East Asia College, which is known for its prestige. Despite admitting to being addicted to gaming, her habit never interfered with her studies. Since enrolling in 2012 and being introduced to LOL by her now-ex-boyfriend, she consistently achieved excellent grades. The fifth interviewee maintained average grades above passing level while considering gaming simply as a pastime activity. He spent around six to eight hours playing games both at home and in computer shops and developed an interest in Dragon Nest, a

multiplayer online battle role-playing game (MOM-RPG), finding it intriguing and enjoyable. In conclusion, our findings suggest that gaming addiction is primarily influenced by the number of players in a game. Typically, curiosity arises when someone receives an invitation or recommendation to play a specific game.We suggest that addiction arises from either peer pressure or, in extreme cases, isolation from society resulting from unfavorable treatment by others.
