What is Sheep?
Sheep are a species of domesticated animals that have been known to man since pre-historic times. They are found in many countries across the world, and they provide us with wool, milk, and meat. Sheep are typically kept as livestock, and they can be used for their wool or milk production as well as for meat. The most common breed of sheep is the medium-sized white-faced sheep found in Europe and North America. This breed is usually raised for its wool production or for meat, but some farmers also use them to produce cheese or yogurt. Other breeds include the longwooled Merino sheep which produces very fine wool used in clothing; the short-legged Dorset Down which is kept primarily for its meat; and Shetland which is kept mainly for its soft fleeces that can be spun into yarns used in knitting projects. Sheep respond well to human interaction and can be trained easily when provided with patience and consistent guidance from their owners. They are relatively docile animals who will follow commands if given properly by a handlerthey even recognize voice commands after being taught them. Their diet consists mostly of grass, hay, grains, legumes and other green plants depending on what type of pasture environment they live in or available food sources nearby farms may provide to them such as fruits or vegetables during certain seasons of the year. When it comes to caretaking, sheep need regular grooming sessions throughout the year depending on their climate conditions such as during summer months when temperatures often rise too high causing excessive shedding which needs brushing out every few weeks to prevent matting fur clumps forming underneath their coats due to dirt buildup from sweat accumulation over time along with occasional trimming around hooves keep feet healthy & clean from mud/dirt debris buildup which can cause infections otherwise if left unchecked too long without proper maintenance upkeep procedures taken care regularly basis basis like all farm animal pets do require attention given towards them so they remain happy healthy members within backyard flock households alike.
