What is Post Partum Depression?
Postpartum depression is a serious mental health condition that can affect new mothers after childbirth. These include psychotherapy (such as cognitive behavioral therapy), medication management (if appropriate), support groups for new mothers, lifestyle changes such as getting enough rest and exercise, and relaxation techniques like yoga or meditation. It’s important to remember that recovery from postpartum depression takes time; it is not something that will go away overnight.
