In order to take action, they started collaborating with local producers. Initially, they joined forces with Conservation International to improve their production and safeguard natural habitat. Furthermore, they formed partnerships with farmers to reduce carbon emissions. In terms of monitoring progress, they are currently conducting a Green House Gas (GHG) usage inventory. Deception regarding educational background, job experience, and qualifications is prevalent across organizations. As an acquaintance, I am aware that someone has discovered a website offering counterfeit GEDs and is currently utilizing one. This individual has been employed by the same company for a duration of three years. By failing to thoroughly verify applicant information, the company is deceiving themselves despite claiming to thoroughly review applications.

The main concern to me is authority. Around 10 years ago (previously the Mexican issue), I had a job working for my in-law. During that time, my in-law misused her authority by taking advantage of her higher position to assign us (the workers) additional tasks. For instance, she would

interrupt our work on the machines to have us help with inventory. We complied with her requests for a period of time until a company-wide meeting was held at the plant.

Personally, this event has greatly influenced my perspective on food safety and led me to definitively decide never to patronize KFC again.

Adhering to government regulations is imperative for customer service agents when handling sensitive customer data.

Failure to follow these procedures during each call may result in severe penalties or, at worst, the dissolution of the organization. Consequently, it was essential to incorporate specific disclosures and disclaimers into every call. In this particular

situation, I had to strictly adhere to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in order to prevent any legal consequences or risks to my employment status. However, I did possess some authority in handling customer complaints and resolving issues such as modifying accounts, issuing credits, or rectifying billing discrepancies. Although there was a need for flexibility when assisting customers in finding optimal solutions, it was restricted. Thankfully, we had predefined alternatives that didn't necessitate manager approval.

If the issue could not be resolved with the available resources, the manager’s approval was required. Despite the increase in decision-making authority given to agents nowadays, there are still limits that must be respected. Companies are becoming more flexible and enabling employees to exercise their judgment in aspects concerning customer satisfaction. Empowerment of managers or employees creates a sense of satisfaction, capability, and competence. Consequently, this improves morale, strengthens the company’s culture, and fosters customer loyalty (Williams, 2012).

It is not advisable to delegate the task of keeping up and maintaining sales goals to other employees as it may lead to a decline in their customer service skills and also raise doubts about their job security. Handling customer complaints should also be done directly with the manager who has more experience in dealing with irate customers and can resolve situations with minimal conflict.
