Personally, I believe that in the Muslim religion, the first and most crucial part of the faith system is the belief in Allah. A better understanding of Allah and his uniqueness guides a believer in having a well-founded knowledge of the pillars of faith. Allah sends his guidance to the humanity through prophets, angels and books. Reflecting on my religion life, I believe that Allah talks to me through his book (the Quran), angels and Prophet Muhammad.
Through the messages, God’s wisdom and Justice is reflected in the world. Personally, I always see God’s power and external knowledge on everything in the world through equal distribution of resources. For example, God provides free air for everyone which represents his mercy for all humanity regardless of their geographical location. Faith moves mountains and this implies that human beings living on earth must believe in the articles of faith (Allah, Angels, Scriptures, Messengers, Life after death and the Qadar) for change in events. I think that obedience is a virtue that every individual must have to secure a better relationship with Allah-The creator and sustainer of everything on earth.
Life on earth is full of lessons, tests and reminders. Also, I believe that every natural disaster and suffering occur at the will of God. It carries with it a lot of wisdom meant to help human beings in striving and working hard to ach...
ieve compensation and justice for their time and energy. Personally, I feel that a believer should be a winner on all situations based on the fact that Allah’s strength and love are all directed to the human race. Many are times when am faced with suffering such as diseases, natural disasters such as flooding, or drought. But I believe that Allah uses these events to help us in the community save and prepare ourselves for hard times.
Ever since I became aware of our religion, I respect and trust the messages conveyed to us by Prophet Muhammad- May peace and favor be upon him. My elderly clansmen believe that Prophet Muhammad was a descendant of Abraham. He was and is the most influential man in history. He managed to receive the Quran and through him we communicate to Allah. He has contributed to the manners, ethics, and morals, economic, social and political systems we are observing today. He champions Allah’s message through other prophets as he is clean and full of sacrifices and hardships which are a true model for the believers.
My reflection on Prophet Muhammad life gives the confidence that sacrifice and hardship in this life show the true definition of a life well lived. Secondly, from Prophet Muhammad’s message, (may peace be upon him) I believe Allah speaks to us. He is the bearer and role model of the followers of Allah. Through him, Allah fulfils our needs.
