The American political landscape comprises two main parties; the democrats and the republicans. These two parties have fundamental differences because of varying stances on issues affecting America. However, these parties have issues they have the same views about, sometimes making it difficult to differentiate them. To understand differences between this two parties one must study their histories and motives behind their formation. Understanding their voting pattern over history is also critical to understanding their different beliefs and political ideologies.

Donald trump’s views on issues of gender is controversial; his verbal attacks targeted at women in the past has raised questions about his credibility. In the past he has referred to women as “dogs” and “disgusting animals. Donald Trump’s campaign team has even been sued for gender discrimination by one of its staff. On other hand Hillary Clinton is viewed as much less divisive figure in comparison to Trump. Her approach on issues of gender is focused mainly on women. She advocates for equal pay, family leaves for women and low cost child care. She also defends women’s health and reproductive rights.

With American elections looming large the issue of gender is going to be key a political battleground for the two in the coming days.
