Introduction

Moon Knight, a character from Marvel created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, first appeared as an adversary in Werewolf by Night #32 in August 1975. The character gained popularity and went on to have his own stories in Marvel Spotlight #28 and 29, as well as making appearances in various other Marvel titles like Spectacular Spider-Man, Marvel Two-in-One, and Defenders. He even had his own backup strip in Hulk! Magazine and Marvel Preview! Finally, in November 1980, Moon Knight was given his very own comic book title (Misiroglu, pg.101-156).

Moon Knight, whose real name is Marc Spector, is a former boxer, US Marine, CIA agent, and hired fighter. Throughout his prior experiences, he has gained proficiency in various martial arts disciplines and familiarity with different weapons. He possesses exceptional athletic abilities and is also highly skilled in combat s

trategy. Charlie Huston, one of the writers involved in the revitalization of the Moon Knight franchise in 2006, admitted that comparisons between Moon Knight and Batman are not unwarranted. This is due to numerous similarities, such as both being wealthy individuals who rely on martial arts, tactics, and gadgets to fight crime (Misiroglu, pg.101-156).

However, it was also pointed out that Moon Knight is not just a second-rate Batman knockoff. Moon Knight has a unique set of characteristics that differentiate him from Batman. Firstly, Moon Knight suffers from multiple identity disorders, making him mentally unstable and allowing him to do things that Batman would never do in the standard progression of his character, such as torture and intentionally kill criminals. Secondly, Moon Knight actually possesses superhuman abilities. This is because he is connected to the Egyptian moon go

Khonshu. As a result, Spector can exhibit varying levels of super strength, endurance, and agility depending on the phase of the moon. The true nature of his abilities is open to interpretation, as they may be either truly magical or simply a result of self-hypnosis caused by his mental instability.

During the 2008 run of the Moon Knight comics, Spector discovers that he has lost his powers. However, he is still able to perform superhuman feats using various technological weaponry and equipment. This includes wearing a "carbonadium" armor that enhances his strength and agility (Misiroglu, pg.101-156).

Glamorizing or Idolizing Iconic Characters

I believe it is common for individuals to seek positive role models in different fields. This desire is often influenced by crowd psychology and the need for social validation. The outcomes can be either positive or negative, depending on their overall impact. For instance, if someone idolizes a business leader by imitating their negative traits like sociopathic tendencies while also admiring their perceived positive qualities such as power, wealth, luxurious lifestyle, and other appealing factors, there is a risk of perpetuating these negative attributes onto future generations.

The significance of recognizing the cause and effect of their situation and appreciating their hard work, along with the circumstances surrounding their creation, cannot be overstated. The mainstream media has employed a deceptive tactic by including "we" in the phrase "Why do we worship and glamorize super heroes ...". This manipulation leads individuals to mistakenly believe that someone is famous solely because the media claims so (Misiroglu, pg.101-156). While it may seem that superheroes are only famous, occasionally their popularity becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy due to many individuals being easily swayed

into thinking that their family members, friends, and neighbors admire characters like Moon Knight simply because they are exposed to such content on television.

Heroes and first responders, such as firefighters, the police, and the military, share common attributes. They possess extensive knowledge and are willing to put their lives in jeopardy. Their exceptional bravery often inspires them to surpass professional expectations. Many firefighters believe that only those who have shown extraordinary acts in the face of inevitable danger should be called "heroes." While training can teach how to handle hazardous situations, it cannot replace the courage and mental strength needed to confront danger while others flee. Despite lacking a means of calling for help if injured themselves, first responders still choose to fulfill their duties. The demanding nature of their work negatively affects their morale. Showing appreciation is an excellent way to express gratitude for the valuable contributions they make to the community (Misiroglu, pg.101-156).

Even a small amount of gratitude can help responders during difficult times and shift them towards a positive perspective.

The Role of Media

Some people believe that attitude change cannot be mandated, but promoting behavioral change may result in shifts in attitude. Superheroes encounter challenges because of the attitudes, beliefs, and misconceptions prevalent in society. Increasing awareness, interactions, and meaningful communication between superheroes and non-superheroes can facilitate attitude change. Nonetheless, personal interaction remains the most effective means to convey the firsthand experience of heroism.

Superheroes exhibit prosocial behavior, leadership, and a variety of uplifting attitudes that have an impact on readers. Leadership is transactional, meaning that leaders support the group and in return, the group supports the leader. Devotees turn to their leaders to

shape, alter, and express their own identities. This aspect is most evident in superheroes and their sidekick Moon Knight, as well as in the relationship between superheroes and the communities they protect. My interpretation of superheroes is that they represent what our false selves would desire to be or the idealized version of our false selves. It is not that superheroes are free from flaws and faults; Moon Knight is self-centered and only seems to care about himself, while Batman is serious and despondent, among other examples.

, it's that when rung to appear and perform, they can utilize their super powers for the benefit of all and act "heroic." They can conquer their fears and self doubts, particularly identified with strife with their chief foe. This speaks to a smothered a portion of ourselves that we have villainized who epitomizes the characteristics of covetousness, non-powerlessness, want for force, and need to demolish. Why does the current generation need fantasy heroes? Common features of heroes with First responders First responders include firefighters, the police and the military who are all experts who carry out their responsibility knowing they could get slaughtered. They are alarmingly fearless. Frequently they get to be heroes by actions well beyond the calling of their professions. Most firefighters I know appear to belief that heroes are a term best held for those that have done unprecedented things even with unavoidable mischief.

While training is valuable, it cannot fully replace the courage and mental strength required to work in dangerous situations. In jobs like firefighting, where there is no emergency hotline for assistance, training alone falls short in preparing individuals for the realities they

may face. Nevertheless, first responders bravely enter these hazardous circumstances. They have one of the most demanding occupations, which often has a negative impact on their morale. Demonstrating appreciation is an excellent way to support these individuals and demonstrate that their contributions are valued by the community. Even a small amount of appreciation can provide encouragement during tough times and help maintain a positive mindset. Additionally, it is widely believed that external influences such as the media cannot bring about an attitude change.

By administering behavioral change, one can ideally induce changes in mentality. The attitudes, beliefs, and misconceptions of society present a significant barrier for superheroes. Changing mentality can be achieved through heightened awareness, increased interaction, and improved communication between superheroes and non-superheroes. However, personal interaction remains the most effective means of conveying the individual experience of heroism. Superheroes exhibit prosocial behavior, leadership qualities, and a range of inspiring attitudes that influence readers.

Leadership can be seen as transactional, where leaders support the group and the group supports the leader. Additionally, followers often look to their leaders to shape and express their own identities. This dynamic is exemplified in superhero narratives, such as the relationship between Moon Knight and his sidekicks, or the connection between superheroes and the communities they protect.
