Although I have work experience, my career largely consisted of co-owning a business with my wife. This has inspired me to pursue new entrepreneurial opportunities rather than pursuing corporate advancement. Together, we leveraged the internet to offer remote consultancy services from our home.

During my time as a web designer, I was not fond of commuting to work, particularly in London where the tube system is old and poorly maintained. Initially, working from home was suitable for me because it provided more autonomy. However, it also caused me to feel socially isolated and further reinforced my independent nature. As an entrepreneur, this would have been limiting; therefore, we sold our business and relocated to Australia instead.

My personality type is INFP according to Keirsey's Temperament Sorter classification system which highlights my strong personal qualities such as internal locus of control, excellent listening/nurturing abilities, high integrity standards perseverance and determination. Additionally, with an emotional intelligence rating of 131- I possess essential soft skills that are crucial for any successful entrepreneur.

Throughout my MBA studies, I have learned that successful entrepreneurial leaders work best with a committed and supportive team. I aim to balance my desire for solitude with social values that encourage interdependence and collaboration. My weaknesses include a lack of focus, which leads to becoming easily distracted and not following through on passionate projects. Furthermore, my poor time management, procrastination, and avoidance of organized detail add to this weak area.

Even after leaving the profession to establish a Work Permit Consultancy, I did not have the chance to develop these skills. However, I soon realized that creating a successful business requires inspiring, recruiting, building, and leading management teams. As a primarily self-employed individual during the past years, it was challenging to find individuals with whom I had previously worked to objectively assess my "Managerial and Leadership Competencies." Therefore, I have personally identified several crucial areas that require improvement.
