It made the enrollment in College of Accountancy and Commerce shorter and easier in terms of time and effort.

Still, in spite of selecting the best system of enrollment, students are encountering problems during enrollment. Despite the changes in enrollment procedure, relatively there are improvements, which will surely contain good, or better policies and guidelines. This study answers the question in how this on-line enrollment system affects the students and the administrators. It is for the above reason that this particular study was conducted. School of Accountancy and Business Management adopt an enrollment modernization, which is now the On-line enrollment system.

Students are aware of the differences of the on-line enrollment system from the previous one. To be able to render effective and efficient implementation to serve better service and to accommodate all students of School of Accountancy and Business Management, a proper management or implementation of the policies and guidelines of the on-line enrollment system should be adopted so as the School of Accountancy and Business Management Administrators would not encounter same problems as they were in the previous enrollment procedure.

Education is the act of educating; systematic development or training of the mind, capabilities, or character through instructor or study.

It is the acquisition of knowledge or skills; especially in forming schooling institution of learning. 1 Every university or any learning institution intends to be the premier institution with widely acknowledged world class performance or standard of education. They look into ways and means to accommodate potential and deserving enrollees by adopting a new or highly technical machines and procedures or methods for a better enrollment process.

They see to it that a good management in implementing the policies and guidelines to achieve their goal and objectives. They also improve facilities like computers, cashier equipment and others to cope with the rapid change of technology. Commerce is generally one of the most highly chosen business course in the Philippines because in our setting, we are categorized as a developing countries of the world and our country takes a long time to recover from economic crisis. From this issue, may students are encouraged to get a course related to commerce.

And in Baguio, Saint Louis University as among who offers courses in Commerce and have produced many managers, finance managers, accountants and others. In the School of Accountancy and Business Management, they are trying to cope with the rapid change of technology, then they adopt modernization in the enrollment procedure. The On-line enrollment system is a good example of the College interaction with the changing of technology because of the presence of computers with new or improved policies and guidelines and methodologies, and other new facilities to update the enrollment process.

Computers are new machines that can do several operations and at the same time, it can keep and store data of student’s

profile, academic loads, records, account balances, and others. These computers are being developed to do things better and easier which gives convenience to men. In education, computers have been used at the school level for many years. But now that the “information revolution” is in full bloom, both financially strapped and wel-to-do school districts are discovering what most businesses have already found-it’s no longer economical not to computerize at most management levels.

Figure 1 shows the conceptual paradigm of the study. The conceptual paradigm of the study illustrates the interaction of the different variables to come up with an expected output. The independent variable is that the variable which is measured, manipulated, or selected by the researchers to determine its effect to students and administrators to an observed phenomenon, it is the stimulus variable.

The independent variable of the study is the effectiveness of the On-line Enrollment System in relation to students’ enrollment and the administrator’s activities. The dependent variable is that the variable which is observed and measured to determine the effect of the independent variable; it is response variable. 4 The dependent variable of the study pertains to the causes that makes the students spend longer time in the enrollment. This variable will take the possible problems in the process in the enrollment.

This variable will take the possible problems in the process of the enrollment, which includes the evaluation of students, computerization of their schedules, payment of fees, registration of their school I. D. The intervening variable contains the possible barriers for the expected output. These are the problems that arise during the enrollment, which may come from the

different part or processes of the enrollment and the student’s behaviors.
